“Light Up The Night” – CLASSES ON STAGE:

THE WEEK OF MAY 18TH – ALL CLASSES WILL MEET AT THE WOSC AUDITORIUM AT REGULAR TIMES TO PRACTICE ENTRANCES, EXITS AND TO DANCE ON STAGE. PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO STAY. WE MAY RUN LATE BECAUSE MULTIPLE CLASSES ARE SHARING THE STAGE, SO PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US. WE WANT ALL OF OUR DANCERS TO FEEL COMFORTABLE AND PREPARED.

DRESS REHEARSALS ARE FULL HAIR, MAKEUP AND COSTUME. THESE ARE OUR PRACTICES FOR THE REAL SHOW.

ACT 1 – THURSDAY, MAY 28TH AT 6:30PM AT WOSC AUDITORIUM

ACT 2 – FRIDAY, MAY 29TH AT 6:30PM AT WOSC AUDITORIUM

RECITAL COSTUMING:

HIP HOP 1 – Sent home 4/27. COSTUME PLUS BLACK SNEAKERS & no-show socks. Hair – any way you want (sides up, pony, braid – out of face) and you can add the black baseball cap if you want. If you wear the hat, make sure it is secure.

HIP HOP 2 – Sent home 4/27. COSTUME PLUS BLACK SNEAKERS & no-show socks. Hair – any way as long as it’s out of the face. Scrunchie optional.

BALLET CLASSES – COSTUME PLUS PRIMA PINK TIGHTS (INCLUDED WITH COSTUME)

HAIR FOR BALLET CLASSES:

BALLET 1 – TRADITIONAL BUN, PRIMA PINK TIGHTS

BALLET 2 – TRADITIONAL BUN, PRIMA PINK TIGHTS

BALLET 3 – TRADITIONAL BUN, PRIMA PINK TIGHTS

BALLET 4 – TOP BUN WITH CROWN, BLACK RIBBON AS CHOKER, GLOVES, PRIMA PINK TIGHTS

BALLET 5 – TRADITIONAL BUN, PRIMA PINK TIGHTS

POINTE – (Students provided) DISCO COSTUME, TAN TIGHTS AND HAIR THAT MATCHES COSTUME (AT LEAST SIDES UP)

TAP 2 – Sent home 4/27. HAIR – low ponytail. No not use the gold clip. Tan Tap shoes and no-show socks. Make sure you do not wear underwear so you don’t have a panty line. Tan tights will work fine. We do not provide tights with this costume, but we do have them for sale for $10 if your child doesn’t already have some.

TAP 3 – HAIR – Mid ponytail

JAZZ 1 &2 – HAIR ~ high ponytail

JAZZ 3 & 4 – bubble braid

CONTEMPORARY 1 & 2 – HAIR ~ low slicked back ponytail with no hair in front of ears!

ACRO 1, 2 & 3 – HAIR ~ low ponytail so they can roll.

3&4 YEAR OLDS & PRE-K – WEAR HAIR DOWN WITH SIDES UP (HALF UP, HALF DOWN).

KINDER/1ST & 1ST/2ND GRADER COMBO CLASSES ~ HAIR – half up, half down

MUSICAL THEATRE 1 & 2 ~ whatever matches your costume as long as it’s out of your face.

RECITAL T-SHIRTS:

I will post the link for Recital T-shirt orders as soon as it is ready. T-shirts will be black with our recital theme on the front and all the dancers’ names on the back.

This is my first mock up so it will be similar to this but may have some changes. CUSTOM GRAPHICS will prepare and bag the shirts. They will be passed out at the auditorium the week before the recitals.

WE WILL COORDINATE A TIME FOR CLASS PICTURES. CLASS PICTURES ARE PRICELESS! TO THIS DAY, I LOVE LOOKING BACK AT MY GROUP PHOTOS WITH MY DANCE FRIENDS. MOST PARENTS HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHER FOR INDIVIDUAL PICS BUT OUR STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHER WILL BE AVAILABLE IF YOU’D LIKE TO BOOK WITH HER. MORE INFO ASAP.
